Home |        Dr. Duangthip Kantha Receives the Certificate of Merit Award for Invention and Innovation Achievement SDGs      Place : at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Bangna, Bangkok Date : 08-01-2569Time : 00.00 น.      On Thursday, 8 January 2026, Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya graciously appointed Mrs. Ratiros Julchat as her royal representative to preside over the opening ceremony of Thailand Inventors’ Day 2026 and to present National Research Awards to research teams from various disciplines. The event was held at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Bangna, Bangkok. On this occasion, Dr. Duangthip Kantha, an Agricultural Technical Officer (Senior Professional Level) from the Department of Entomology, Faculty of Agriculture at Kamphaeng Saen, Kasetsart University, Kamphaeng Saen Campus, received the “Certificate of Merit Award for Invention and Innovation Achievement.” The award was presented to Dr. Duangthip Kantha and her research team for their invention entitled “QBEANS: A Biological Agent for the Prevention and Control of Coffee Berry Borer to Enhance Premium Coffee Production.” This innovation reflects the application of biological pest control to support sustainable agriculture while increasing the value and quality of agricultural products.
